The AI Chatbot is a smart, AI-powered virtual admission and information assistant designed to provide students and parents with instant assistance through natural conversation. Unlike traditional rule-based chatbots, the system understands English, Bengali, and Bengali written in Roman/English characters and can interpret questions even when they are asked in different ways.
The chatbot is powered by an Academy-specific AI Knowledge Base. Administrators can enter detailed information about courses, admissions, fees, scholarships, residential facilities, hostel, board support, eligibility, academic programmes and other services in simple paragraph format. The AI processes this information, converts it into structured knowledge, and uses the relevant information to generate contextual and accurate responses to users.
The chatbot also maintains the complete conversation history, allowing administrators to monitor every interaction, including the visitor's questions, AI responses, date and time, visitor information and collected admission enquiries. All conversation timestamps are maintained according to the Asia/Kolkata (IST) timezone.
